Summary of our adoption journey

4/07 - decided to pursue international adoption
5/07 - signed with Vietnam adoption agency
5/07- began gathering documents for our dossier
6/07 - submitted our I-600a to Immigration
8/14/07 - Home study completed
8/21/07 - fingerprinted at state capital
8/26/07 - Church family blessed us with a $2600 grant
10/04/07 - final immigration document (I-171H) arrived in mail
11/12/07 - Dossier to Vietnam
11/27/07 - Decided on Lela Grace as her name
9/01/08 - Vietnam closed to US adoptions
1/13/09 - Signed with Marshall Island adoption agency
3/24/09 fingerprinted at state capitol AGAIN (ours had expired)
5/25/09 - Home study #2 completed and sent to agency. Shew!
7/06/09 Final revised, revised approved I-171H arrived, dossier on it's way to agency!!
7/16/09 Dossier en route to the Marshall Islands
11/24/09 Service plan FINALLY finished
11/27/09 Received our referral
12/10/09 Left to GO GET OUR BOY!
12/14/09 Court Date - "Gotcha Day"
1/21/10 Finally home with Nathan!!
